Nerds Upgrade Computers
Upgrading your computer is stress free, depending on how old your computer is. If it is old, upgrading it will require more parts, and limit your options, but newer computers will be more compatible with what is available.
How old is your computer?
If your computer is more than three years old, you should rather consider replacing it entirely rather than upgrading it. The components that are inside it will most likely be incompatible with new parts, so replacing one part like the CPU will mean you'd need to replace more so that they can work together.
Board, Chip and RAM
The three main components of the computer all need to be compatible, so replacing one of them means you will usually need to replace all three unless your computer is less than a year old. Sometimes you will also need to upgrade your power supply.
Simple Upgrades
Some upgrades are not as intensive, and can be easily done without any hassle. Upgrading to a bigger hard drive for more storage space is as easy as plugging it in and configuring it, and putting in more RAM to make your computer faster is easy so long as your motherboard can use the RAM modules available to you.
