Dial a Nerd is constantly looking for meaningful ways to help communities or organisations with their IT requirements. You can find out about our community development projects we've worked on by choosing any of the links below.

If you’d like to donate your old computers to these causes you can drop them off at your local branch.

Nerd help 1st Step Internet Café in Orange Farm At the end of September we gathered together 6 refurbished computers and delivered them to Lennox Maliwa, the proprietor of 1st Step Internet Café

Nerds donate to The Settlers High School PTA September 2011 - Nerds donated and supported the Settlers High School bingo event which was much appreciated by the PTA chairperson

Nerds help a grateful stableyard groom October 2011 - nerds kindly donate a second hand PC to Takemore a stableyard groom who always wanted to learn how to use a computer

Nerds help the community and donate 4 PCs to NOAH August 2011 - Dial a Nerd generously donated of 4 Desktop computers to NOAH. "Noah assists communities by empowering them with the necessary knowledge, skills, strategies, and self confidence to form and successfully run their own community based organizations supporting the well being of vulnerable children in the 100 communities we currently operate in"
